FRUIT PICKING

Today we are at a private residence in Hancock Park. We received a call from the owner of the property who has lemon and apple trees and wanted to donate the fruit to Nourish LA. With teen ambassador Claire, we started picking the fruit. We had so much fun during the process and had a bountiful harvest, and we donated the lemons and the apples to nourish la.
Even though we were only two teens (Claire and I), we were able to pick a lot of produce. Happy to know that we helped the property owner by not letting the fruit go to waste. Grateful that nourish la has their Saturday and Sunday food distribution days so we know that the apples and lemons will be distributed the day they are picked.
